David Forbord

David Forbord serves as Vice President of Alantes Corporate Finance, LLC. He brings over 30 years of financial services and accounting experience to the Alantes team. David has served as the critical financial expert for companies across various industries and his success and track record speaks for itself. David continues to be an industry leader and looks to expand his services by bringing his expertise to clients in the Los Angeles region and nationwide.

Prior to Alantes, David was employed by various Fortune 1000 companies as a financial consultant to analyze cost benefits of future asset acquisitions and dispositions. He was in charge of compiling and constructing advanced break even, return rate and valuation analysis by analyzing trends, ratios and variables. David also served as an Investment Property Sales Specialist where he consistently won Agent of the Month and Agent of the Year multiple times in a row. He achieved $41M in sales which ranked near the top of over 375 agents. His passion and professionalism was demonstrated through his Chief Financial Officer and Controller roles at Transport Drivers and Luthi Engineering where he managed the finances of a $45M shipping company with four foreign subsidiaries and a $14M food processing machinery leasing and manufacturing company. Some of David’s responsibilities include preparing annual budgets and projections, standardizing and streamlining the journal entry process as well as developing financial systems to help with financial management, risk management, internal auditing, forecasting, financial planning and information systems of these companies.

David graduated from the University of Wyoming where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. David is also a Certified Public Accountant with affiliations to the Member of Institute of CPAs with vast proficiencies in numerous accounting principles.
