John’s Pro Tree Service, Inc (“PTS” or “the Company”) is a Mokena, IL based service company that provides arborist services which include tree and bush trimming and removal, stump removal, and land clearing. The company does not serve any utility segment customers and has grown substantially since there initial opening in 1999.
Situation
PTS was in need of a credit facility due to working capital constraints caused by seasonality. In addition, the company had existing high-cost debt that was further complicating cash flow issues and hampering growth.
Solution
Alantes secured a $650,000 bridge loan which successfully refinanced all existing high-cost debt while we worked through the SBA underwriting process. Alantes subsequently closed a $900,000 SBA term that refinanced the majority of the Company’s debt and allowed for working capital for current and future needs. Atlantes was able to work through various challenges that arose during underwiring in order to successfully close the credit facility.
