Highbridge The Label (“HTL” or “the Company”) is a multi-platinum record label that was founded in 2016 by Sambou Camara and Quincy Acheampong. The name pays homage to the neighborhood in New York City where they grew up. The first lead signee was A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. They partnered with Atlantic Records to sign a deal to have full control of the artist. This led to them promoting and bringing forth #1 Albums on the billboard chart. The label was featured on the Docuseries, Rapture, in where it was discussed how it was built from the ground up.
Situation
Highbridge had been renting office space for quite some time but it was no longer feasible as rents continued to rise. In addition, the Company was spending a significant percentage of revenue on renting studio time for its artists. This let the company to seek financing for the acquisition of commercial real estate which would be partially converted into a music studio to support the career of its current roster of artists.
Solution
Alantes secured a $2,200,000 real estate term loan for the acquisition of an office real estate space intended for the development of a music production studio.
